well apart from the above mentioned, and absolutely amazing, BBC’s Natures Great Events – there’s also ‘South Pacific’, ‘Yellowstone’ and ‘Life’ – all from the BBC.

Hey there ! Nice list.!.. i have seen all of them … they are beautiful .
I would like to add some to the list .
Do watch … ” The birds of Paradise” . I know most of you wouldn’t have heard or known about these birds .. but trust me .. They are one of the most beautiful creations of life.

Thank you for sharing your list of top nature documentaries! I too loved Winged Migration and Blue Planet, so I certainly would trust your judgment on the rest, which I haven’t seen. Though they don’t qualify as documentaries, two of my other favorite nature-themed films are The Bear (from 1988 – I fell in love with this one as a child) and The Story of the Weeping Camel (2003). Both are beautiful films that children and adults can both enjoy. Best wishes to you and yours!

jazkiAllah this movies are best entertainment and also brings one to know the power of Allah more. The only problem here is the music but overall they are great movies and very nice form of relaxation.

Hi there,

was looking for other programmes to watch as I love documentaries. I’m not religious in any form but I thank you for letting me know about other programmes that I have not seen. The grandeur of nature and the world around us often makes me wonder how it all came about. I have no questions to that, but it is nice to see the amazing sights that are there around us.

Hey Darwin,

Its left for people to believe whether these are creations of God or not. So different people have different perceptions. And none of the scientists would have told you that they don’t believe in God.
When the program is called Nature’s Great Events, Nature is nothing but God.
And no one is insulting the makers of this film, instead we are very grateful to all of them for providing us with fantastic documentaries like these. We all respect Sir David Attenborough and I personally think that Sir is the luckiest person on Earth to have witnessed such stupendous miracles of Nature all round the world.
